OUR STORY
Driven by passion and built on transparency, we have been serving the people of Iringa Region since 2003.

Our roots go deep into the soil of Ng’uruhe village. We began our journey in 2003 with a simple but powerful vision. By 2004, we were officially registered, and in 2018, we evolved into MAWAKI (Maendeleo na Wakati Kilolo). Today, we stand proud as a fully registered and recognized Community Development NGO in Kilolo, working hand-in-hand with the Government of Tanzania to transform lives.
Though our headquarters share grounds with the local R.C. Church, our identity is fiercely independent. We have no religious or political affiliations. What truly defines us as a successful Community Development NGO in Kilolo is our unwavering commitment to serving everyone equally, guided by dignity, transparency, and accountability.
